Ellie's French Dressing
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup oil (I use safflower)
3/4 tsp salt
4 tablets saccharin (equal to 4 tsp sugar) or 3 tsp honey
1/16 tsp dry mustard
1/16 tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp onion juice, or 1 tbsp minced onion, or 1 tsp onion puree
Mix all ingredients. Makes about 1 cup.
I like it a bit tart, but if you don't, you can change the oil/vinegar proportions to 2/3 cup oil and 1/3 cup vinegar.
