Dinner at Sue's - October 25, 2001

On October 25th, we had our third UCLBS potluck, with another SCD smorgasbord and another wonderful evening of noshing and nattering.

We all gathered at Sue's house and feasted on crackers with guacamole, squash soup and chicken soup Mexicana, pizzas, butter chicken with cauliflower rice, salad, mango salsa, and crab quiche, followed by meringue torte and lemon ice with raspberry sauce. Taste buds watering yet? Ours were.

We were really pleased to welcome a couple of new members, Domenic and Mike, who have added a 'blue' contingent to our decidedly 'pink' membership.

We never fail to appreciate hanging out with kindred spirits we can chat with about our trophies (or quest for them) and the great benefits of SCD. The stellar cooks in our midst came up with some yummy new recipes for the group, and if we can get our 'poop' together (the classic SCD goal), we'll have the recipes up on www.uclbs.org soon.
